ReplyDelete1. You've Got Mail- love it
2. The Princess Bride-
3. About a Boy- another good one
4. Pride and Prejudice (A&E version)-never seen it
5. The Sound of Music never seen it
6. Singin' in the Rain-never seen it
7. Shawshank Redemption-most excellent but makes me cry
8. Sense and Sensibility-never seen it
9. Hitch-love it and do watch it over and over
10. Sleepless in Seattle-classic
11. Elf-awesome
12. Little Women-never seen it
13. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (a lot of people dislike the third film, but it's one of my favorites)-yet to see any HP movie
I like the third Harry Potter film too! And P&P is one of my absolute favourites. :)
ReplyDeleteHmm, I actually know all of these films. Even if my memory of most of them is only quite hazy.
ReplyDeleteHarry Potter movies all bore me to death, I have to admit. I prefer the books (up to part 4 at least).
I always mix up Sleepless in Seattle and You've got Mail, but I think I found both not too thrilling. Tom Hanks is just not my kind of romantic lead.
Hitch was great, About a Boy as well. And Shawshank Redemption I loved also, mainly because it is one of the few good film adaptions of a great Stephen King book.
I love musicals, so you've got me at Sound of Music and Singin' in the Rain. In fact, the Sound of Music would be #1 on my all time favorites list - and not just because I've been to Salzburg a few times. I just love the movie!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my TT!
I agree with 2 5 8 and 12 for sure!
ReplyDelete~Leslie
wow, i actually love each one of these films - excellent list. #7 is especially good, IMHO.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen Shawshank Redemption or Elf, but otherwise, I agree with your list.
ReplyDeleteThe Princess Bride and the Shawshank Redemption are both high on my list too. And Salt on our Skin, but no one but me has ever seemed to have heard of that one.
ReplyDeleteI love all of these but of course my fav is P&P! Saw the newest HP movie last night and enjoyed it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my place!
Is it me or does JA's novels make the best chick flicks??
ReplyDeleteThose are some really good ones! Some I haven't seen though. Hey, if you have time, come by my blog and give me some feedback for my "Great Movie Post" (on my sidebar), I bet you'll have some great suggestions for me!
ReplyDeleteHappy TT13 :-)
I keep telling my mom that she would love ELF, that it's sweet and not at all "vulgar." But she saw Old School on cable and is just so done with Will Ferrell. Too bad. I agree with you that it's a rewatchable movie.
ReplyDeleteGreat list...I dont know of many movies I can watch over and over again but my two favorites would be Shrek #1 and Sleeping with the enemy. Happy TT and thanks for stopping by:)
ReplyDeleteGreat list...I loved Hitch. I think Ive seen that at least 8 times along with Harry Potter. Happy TT and thanks for stopping by:)
ReplyDeleteGreat list! The Count of Monte Cristo is one of my favorites!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my T13 today!
Have a great weekend!
