Christmas Card Giveaway Winners!

It's time to find out the winners of my Shutterfly Christmas Card giveaway. HUGE thanks to Shutterfly for sponsoring such an awesome promotion for bloggers and their readers! Watch the video to find out who won! (And excuse my weird facial expressions. Obviously I am not destined to be a TV/movie star.)

Congratulations to the 3 winners! You all should have been contacted by me, so if you didn't receive your code, please let me know!

You may have noticed that I'm wearing a strange shirt in this video. The shirt is part of my Halloween costume. Here's the complete look:

I'm a Price Is Right contestant! My workplace has a costume contest every year, and I am proud to say that I won second place for the second year in a row! I'm now $15 richer. Woohoo!

I hope you all have a great week!

Happy Halloween

Wishes for a safe and happy Halloween, from our little ladybug!

Like Mother, Like Daughter

Once upon a time, I was a young girl. A baby, even. And I had a red dress.

Fast forward 29 years, and I had a girl of my own. It was only natural that she should wear my red dress, too.

The years have been good to the dress. And to me. I am blessed.

P.S. Don't forget to enter my giveaway to win Christmas cards from Shutterfly!

Shutterfly Christmas Card Giveaway!

Did you know there are only 59 days until Christmas??  I for one can't believe it, but I'm starting to think more about holiday plans, and those plans include sending out Christmas cards. I had so much fun sending out the awesome cards that Shutterfly was kind enough to give me, and I'm excited to get to do the same thing this year! Their Christmas Card collection is full of exciting possibilities this year. Here's the card we went with last year. I really loved the option of having a little recap of the year.

This year I'm looking forward to being able to send out a card with Charlotte's adorable face on it! Here are a few I'm considering:

Many of you are probably aware of Shutterfly, but did you know that along with Christmas cards, they also offer fantastic photo books? I have made two photo books with pictures of Charlotte and have loved the finish products.  And thanks to Shutterfly's newish Custom Path setup, creating a photo book is so simple and painless!  Shutterfly often has sales on their photo books, and I was able to get both of my books at half off or more. The photo books are a great alternative to scrapbooks, which I have never been able to fully commit to.  Here's a look at the summer book I created:

Shutterfly also has super cute birth announcements, and had I not ordered some with a photo package we purchased from the hospital photographer, I definitely would have ordered some from Shutterfly. I think this one is so pretty and classic:

The BEST part about Shutterfly is that they want to give away FREE cards! THREE of my readers will win a code good for 25 free photo cards from Shutterfly. You earn an entry simply by commenting on this post and telling me your favorite Christmas song. The contest will be open until noon on Monday, October 31!
